Community Animal Care is proud to be a privately-owned, local animal hospital serving cats and dogs of Poughkeepsie, NY, & other areas of Dutchess County. We believe in providing top-notch full-service veterinary services as well as keeping pet-owners in the know regarding their best friend’s care.
Founded in 1961 by Dr. Kessinger and Dr. Sanford, our veterinarian’s office has helped generations of community pets. Today, our practice continues its reputable legacy of outstanding veterinary medical and surgical care led by Dr. Melissa Pelesz.
